This extensive renovation and addition to the Prospera Credit Union in Surrey, grew out of a need to refresh Propera’s corporate image, and to provide better functioning spaces for the growing institution. To meet the owner’s objectives, the existing building was expanded, and interiors were renovated to provide a better client experience. Contemporary materials including aluminum, masonry block and glass, are accented with wood to create a warm, contemporary environment. High level clerestory windows bring abundant natural light to the central banking area, and an illuminated tower provides of uniqueness to the building, and helps anchor it in the community.
